Enjoy the beautiful 5 km PDV Trail at Pont de Val Estate, open to all walkers, joggers, and runners every Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 11:00.
The trail begins and ends near the main riverside lawn, following a single loop through some of the estate’s most scenic areas. The first part of the route runs along the peaceful Vaal River, with clear views of the historic Barrage Dam Wall. From there, the path curves inland through Pont de Val’s tranquil vineyards and countryside, before returning to the riverfront for a strong finish.
The surface is a mix of dirt paths, short paved sections, and grass. It’s mostly flat, with a few gentle slopes—perfect for all fitness levels.
Toilets, cafés, and parking are available on-site. After your walk or run, feel free to enjoy a cappuccino or smoothie at the Depresso Cafe, or breakfast at the Frederic’s Table Restaurant.
