Food & Beverages at Your Picnic
The Pont de Val Country Restaurant is open Fridays to Sundays and on Public Holidays, where guests can order food and beverages to enjoy at their picnic setup.
Monday to Thursday (excluding Public Holidays), guests are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Please note that no outside food or beverages may be brought in on days when the restaurant is open.
Depresso Cafe, our on-site coffee shop, is open 7 days a week and offers coffee, smoothies, soft drinks and a selection of light snacks — perfect for any day of the week.
Picnic Photoshoot Add-On:
Capture the moment with our optional picnic photoshoot — a 20-minute session with 20 professionally edited images. Photoshoots are available on Saturdays and Sundays only. To add this to your booking, select “1 Adult” under the photoshoot option for groups of up to 10 people. For groups larger than 10, please select “2 Adults.”
In the Event of Rain:
Should the weather turn, your picnic setup will be moved indoors into the Restaurant for a lovely table setting — so the occasion is never spoiled. Rescheduling on the day is not permitted as bookings has been prepared in advance and flowers have been ordered and prepared. Please note that no refunds are issued in the event of bad weather.
WINE ADD-ON:
When adding on a bottle of Pont de Val wine or bubbly, the bottle will be delivered to your picnic set up with a bucket with ice and we will provide a plastic chalice for drinking (no glass).
Please select the number of bottles you would like (not the number of adults, ignore the word “adult”)

Price includes rental items such as: decor items, crockery & cutlery, flowers, candles in votives, material napkins, table runner, umbrella, under plates, picnic table, picnic blankets and pillows .
Maximum people per picnic setup is 12 people. If you would like to add more people, you can book multiple picnics. Alternatively, WhatsApp us on 079 119 7587 and we will gladly assist.
No entrance fee into the Picnic Park.
No food and drinks are allowed to be brought into the venue.
All food and beverages may be purchased at The Pont de Val Restaurant.
Three time slots available per day: 10h00 – 13h00, 12h00 – 15h00 or 14h00 – 17h00.
Pont de Val is a cashless environment.
IN THE EVENT OF RAIN: Picnic set ups will be moved indoors, into the Restaurant for a lovely table set up.

The place is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived at the gate. The Bellflower reception staff were warm and professional, the team that set up our picnic was helpful, and the waitresses at the restaurant provided great service. Unfortunately, the only disappointment was the cleanliness of the picnic area. It was very dirty and filled with litter from previous days. It didn't seem like any cleaning had been done for the new day, which really affected the atmosphere and our pictures. There were tissues, tomato sauce bottles, wine bottles, and other rubbish scattered around. We were travelling with toddlers who tend to pick up everything, so this was especially concerning for us.
