Inclusions

Price includes rental items such as: decor items, crockery & cutlery, flowers, candles in votives, material napkins, table runner, umbrella, under plates, picnic table, picnic blankets and pillows .
Maximum people per picnic setup is 12 people. If you would like to add more people, you can book multiple picnics. Alternatively, WhatsApp us on 079 119 7587 and we will gladly assist.

Food and Beverage can be pre ordered from restaurant.

Notes

No entrance fee into the Picnic Park.
No food and drinks are allowed to be brought into the venue.
All food and beverages may be purchased at The Pont de Val Restaurant.
Three time slots available per day: 10h00 – 13h00, 12h00 – 15h00 or 14h00 – 17h00.
Pont de Val is a cashless environment.

IN THE EVENT OF RAIN: Picnic set ups will be moved indoors, into the Restaurant for a lovely table set up.
No refunds in event of bad weather.

Positives: 1. The venue was absolutely stunning. Perfect for the occasion and the perfect family friednly venue with lots of attractions for children. 2. The staff were friendly and helpful. 3. The food was decently priced. Negatives: 1. Communication could be better. Upon arrival, I did not know and was not informed of where to go for my booking. Waited a while and had to ask multiple people before I was helped to my picnic area. This was a bit frustrating. 2. Lack of cohesion between restaurant and venue/picnic providers. I was often redirected to one party or the other to have things sorted. 3. My major problem was the lack of effective communication by the restaurant. This was extremely poor. I was only contacted on the morning of the picnic while at church for me to urgently place food orders and make payment. Why couldn't this have been arranged a day before, rather than a few hours? All communication was done on WhatsApp, the invoice was sent on WhatsApp, payment confirmation had to be sent on WhatsApp etc. This was not at all professional and could lead to a host of errors. 4. Finally, and maybe im not aware because the T& C's on the website doesnt not open up, but the staff did not finish cleaning up. Dragonfly did not finish packing away their cutlery. When packing up theor decorations and utensils they simply dumped trash and food on the grass for us to later pick up ourselves, which didn't leave the best impression. Again, if we were meant to clean up, that is ok, but they could have communicated and not left the mess they did for us. Overall, we loved the experience, highly recommend Pont De Val, and will surely be back. - Patrick


Good day, We had a beautiful experience. The ladies in the help desk and the staff on duty on the day, all awesome [?] They all gave us special treatment. The experience was really a value for money. I just gave them a concept and they made it turn out really great. Very professional and friendly. My entire family loved the experience and the service. We are definitely coming back.
